Workshop - "You’re a New Yorker Cartoonist: Exploit It"

A one-of-a-kind workshop exclusively for New Yorker Cartoonists. You will learn about:

- the basics of working with The New Yorker and others that every cartoonist should know
- demystifying other departments at TNY, including spots, covers, and Conde Nast Marketing
- how to get work at other publications
- agents, books, publishing
- artist residencies
- building an online store and selling prints and merch
... and more!

It will take place on Saturday, October 19th, from 2PM-4PM EST, with an optional 3rd hour for additional topics, discussion, and Q&A.

Prerequisite: This is a closed event to ONLY New Yorker cartoonists, which means only to artists who had at least one cartoon in The New Yorker. That could be print, digital, and it could be a single-panel cartoon, a Daily Cartoon, or a Daily Shout. The artist may also have sold one cartoon that is print pending.
